"ill find out out who did this to you brother, those son of goblins wont die quickly...." i gather what i can, and slink into the shadows and continue the search or the manor and to see if i can figure out what happened while we gone and who attacked the manor.

(if nothing is found on the first level i slink back into the hidden ale and spirit room in the basement grabbing a few small vases or bottles on the way back to the basement to find a quiet space to look over ingrid's notes) ((if locke knows ingrid theres a few empty bottles around)) *taps the barrels to see if there's still a full supply*

The notes consist of Ingred's studies. He had many attempts in making different types of potions using herbalism. There are also notes on his studies to extend and control werewolf transformation.

"Ingrid you smart son of a bitch" i see if the symbol is connected to his tests then tuck the the notes into my bag *finishes his ale and smiles* "you did well my friend..." You don't find any conection with the notes and the symbol.
