I come humbly requesting your aid in my wish to prove my prowess in front of my brethren."

"That sounds good and all but I would I know if your a sound investment. I mean if I sponsor you its to bring in more busines. I need to know that you can win. Let alone if you have any chance against the champ."

"During my travels that brought me to your shop, I have faced far greater odds, dragons, drow armies, greater demons, and more. I have done all of this and do not intend for a tournament to be what takes my last breath my friend." Torrin shows the vendor the dragon scales and demon horn

Torrin grins wide "you will not be disappointed by this my friend I assure you. I must however take my leave so as to make it in time to the tournament"

Torrin and Shmoxfub look around trying to gauge the strength of the others in the room around him as he begins to get in tune with the nature of the beasts that he follows.

Torrin looks to one of the Warriors next to him, "what are the parameters of the battles? And when do we begin?"

"Don't really know the rules and the matches are different each time. It's a way for them to spice things up for the audience."
